Handbook and quick actions

The ladder

Promotions come from activity first, then professionalism and the way you treat others. Achieving a high number of hours in a month gets you a chance at promotion.

  1. T-01
    Commissioner

In charge of everything regarding the server and DOT.

    Exempta month
  2. T-02
    Head Administrator

Runs the department with the Commissioner.

    Exempta month
  3. T-03
    Lead Administrator

    Leads the Administration team.

    1h · 2 exams · 2 R/Asa month
  4. T-04 – T-05
    Administration

The official management of DOT. Only 3 people hold it, promoted from Supervisor. Promote, demote and terminate with proper reasoning, guide new Supervisors, host trainings, vote, and keep tickets and the server clean.

    1h · 2 exams · 2 R/Asa month
  5. T-06 – T-09
    Head Supervisor

The final step before Administration. Access to some admin channels, and you certify Advanced Operators and Supervisors as Certification Instructors.

    2h · 3 exams · 3 R/Asa month
  6. T-10 – T-15
    DOT Supervisor

Part of the supervision team. Host trainings, read exams and applications, give ride-alongs, accept or deny LOAs, and moderate ranks below you (warn, strike, suspend, terminate within reason).

    2h · 3 exams · 3 R/Asa month
  7. T-16 – T-22
    Advanced DOT Operator

Experienced and trusted to handle your own situations. Eligible to become a Certification Instructor. Guide new operators and prove yourself for Supervisor.

    4ha month
  8. T-23 – T-35
    Senior DOT Operator

You represent DOT at your best. Unlock Bus and Construction certification and Field Trainer. Show trainees how to tow and how to introduce yourself on scene.

    4ha month
  9. T-36 – T-67
    DOT Operator

Drive on your own and join RTO. Respond to tow calls, give taxi rides, and let trainees ride along with you.

    4ha month
  10. No callsign yet
    Trainee

You’re in training: you may not drive a DOT vehicle on your own. Ride along with a DOT Operator to patrol. Driving a DOT vehicle untrained is an unappealable strike.

    Train in 3 weeksa month

Secretaries support Administration and have no callsign. R/A = ride-along.
